What is fear? how are your supposed to "fear this"?
do I hide behind my strong tower and let others remain in control of all decisions.
OR
do I rest in the security that He is in control of all decisions?
i choose the later.
fear is something that i often feel inside. most likely on a daily basis. but the Lord tells us to "fear not" and "do not be anxious".... the comfort and peace in knowing that I have a Savior who gladly bears my burdens leaves me in awe. His greatest desire for me is to fear Him so that in turn i shall obey.
This is my prayer: that I may slowly, surely, daily, lifelong... study His word. hear from Him. be led by Him and only Him. submit to Him so that i may learn how to submit to others, cry out to Him when in need, learn to laugh at the time to come.
I pray that I learn how to be a Proverbs 31 woman of Christ, created and formed in Him image.
Strength. Dignity. Laughter. Unplanned future. Worthy of Praise. Blessed. Excellent. Quiet. Humble. Submissive.
Strength and dignity are her clothing,
and she laughs at the time to come.
Her children rise up and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
"Many women have done excellently,
but you surpass them all."
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
